The Full Story

River Run Veterinary Service, PLLC was started by Dr. Bryna Schuchhardt to help fill the need for veterinary services that are becoming hard to find in south central Montana. Providing ambulatory care for large and small animals in the Stillwater, Carbon, and Yellowstone counties, Dr. Schuchhardt strives to aid the local ranchers, horseman, and pet owners in keeping their animals healthy. Dr. Schuchhardt is a native Montanan, growing up on a small cattle ranch between Fromberg and Bridger, MT. She was an active member in 4H and FFA, as well as school goverment, and played numerous sports while in school. She worked as a veterinary assistant at Bridger Vet, and a horse wrangler for a guest ranch outside Bridger, MT. After graduting high school, she attended Montana State University-Bozeman, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. While at MSU, she served as an Ag Ambassador, traveling the state to promote the College of Agriculture, and was part of the horseman's club. She then went on to Pullman, WA to attend veterinary school at Washington State University, and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She immediately returned to Montana, working in private practice for the past 16 years while she raised her 3 children.
